My biography is strongly influenced by location.

Barony of Northwoods, Middle Kingdom (E. Lansing, MI). 1973-1977.

• Where I found the SCA, learned to fight, and prepared the first frog pie. Kingdom of Atenveldt (Lubbock, TX. Not yet a SCA group). 1977-1979.
• No SCA group at that time. Future Barony of Bonwicke, Kingdom of Ansteorra. Barony of Northwoods again. 1979-1986.
• Very busy in the SCA with fighting, dancing, theatre, demos, etc.
• Became Crown Princess when Valerius Paencalvus needed a partner for Crown Tourney.
• Served as Queen with Valerius. We commissioned the Great Booke of the Middle Kingdom.
• Knighted at Pennsic XIV, in the same court after Valerius €š€ž knighting. Barony of Jaravellir, Middle Kingdom (now Kingdom of Northshield) 1986-1988.
• Fighting and theatre, etc.
• Married Robyyan torr d'Elandris and lived happily ever after. Barony of Windmasters Hill, Kingdom of Atlantia (Chapel Hill, NC). 1988-1998.
• Very busy in the SCA with fighting, dancing, theatre, demos, etc. regular recorder practice.
• Robyyan and Fern served as Baron and Baroness of Windmasters Hill for two years.
• Entered the Order of the Pelican Province of Tree Girt Sea, Middle Kingdom (now Canton of Tree Girt Sea in the Barony of Ayreton). 1998-current.

• Particpated in the coalition of five separate groups to form the Barony of Ayreton.

• Autocrated the Midrealm XL anniversary event.
